Join the Clinical Dharma Retreat for helping professionals with Dr. Stephen Dansiger and guest teacher Mary Stancavage.
Clinical Dharma is a series of 12 classes designed by Dr. Stephen Dansiger to help helpers to infuse their self care, and their care of others, with the 4 Noble Truths and the 8 Fold Path of the Buddha. Also featured as part of Clinical Dharma is the opportunity to go on short retreats with Dr. Steve and guest teachers, where the focus will be on how our work practice is fed by our practice of Buddhist mindfulness. These workshops can be found both in person and online.

A sliding scale of $25-60 has been prepared for this event to help ensure that as many people as possible can join our event. Please consider paying at the highest amount that you are able. There will also be an opportunity to offer dana to the guest teacher at the event.
Mary Stancavage has practiced meditation, yoga, and cultivated a spiritual practice for almost 30 years. She began studying with Noah Levine in 2005, and in 2009 completed his first teacher training program. She currently serves as Director of Against the Stream Buddhist Meditation Society. In January 2016 she became Executive Director of the Mind Body Awareness Project. She has taught meditation at recovery centers in Los Angeles, has co-facilitated Year-to-Live groups since 2008, and has a weekly class at ATS. She completed the Buddhist Chaplaincy Program at the Sati Center and served as volunteer chaplain at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center. Mary sits on the board of the Buddhist Insight Network. In addition, Mary has a Masters from UCLA, and worked as an archaeologist in the Middle East.
